Four Simple Steps

Register for your kit online

Simply fill out our online registration form to order your kit today. Once our simple registration process is complete, your at-home saliva collection kit will arrive within 3-4 business days.

Saliva collection

Once you have received your kit, simply follow the directions to collect your saliva in the tube provided. After you fill and seal the tube, return it in the pre-paid envelope provided in your kit.

Receive your results

The lab will process your sample and results will be ready within 2 to 3 weeks. You’ll receive notification from the JPatible team when your results are ready. All results will be sent to you electronically. Genetic counseling will be made available at that time through the Natera genetic counseling services.

Couple compatibility matching

When you are ready to check genetic compatibility with a prospective spouse, simply contact JPatible. After receiving consent from both parties, JPatible will compare the results for compatibility. Individual results are never released to another party. Remember, the couple compatibility check can only be done when both parties are participants in the JPatible program.

3. Receive your results

4. Get Results

The lab will process your sample and results will be ready within 3 to 4 weeks. You’ll receive notification from the JPatible team when your results are ready. You will then have the opportunity to have a one-on-one phone or video genetic counseling session, at which time your results will be explained fully and thoroughly. Your results will be sent to you, the JPatible program, and the doctor who signed your test order, if applicable.

5. Couple compatibility matching
